Acxitl Espino Obituary (1978 - 2021)

Acxitl Espino, 42, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at his residence in Manvel, Texas. He was the husband of Melissa Espino. The couple shared 15 years of marriage. Acxitl was on October 9 in McAllen, Texas to Jaime Espino, Sr. and Tirza Garza. He graduated from United Technical Institute in 2005. Acxitl enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He would never miss an opportunity to crack a joke to make everyone laugh. He will always be remembered for his loving, generous heart and contagious laugh. Especially his love for his daughter, Amber ("Piggy"). He is survived by his wife, Melissa; his daughter, Amber; father, Jamie; stepmom, Thelma; brothers, Jaime, Jr. and Carlos; sister, Stephanie; nephews, Victor, Ashton, Rick, Kingston, Kairo and Tito; cousins, George, Robert and Anthony. He was predeceased by his mother, Tirza Garza and grandmother, Julia Rodriguez. A public viewing will be held Monday, April 12, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. following a service to celebrate his life at 3:00 p.m. Both events will be held at Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway in Texas City, Texas 77591.
