Aprile Dianne Stephenson Obituary (1933 - 2015)

Aprile Dianne (Babe) Stephenson was born in Houston, Texas on November 10, 1933. She passed away November 4, 2015 at the age of 81 in La Marque, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, George Alexander Manos, Sr., mother, Myra Lee (Molly) Rolls, sister, Athena Marie Thompson; brother, George Alexander Manos, Jr. and daughter, Penny Lee Carlson. Dianne is survived by brother, Mickey Manos; daughter, Cindy Gunnels and husband Todd, daughter, Patti Eason; son, Frank Stephenson and wife Carolyn and son in law John Richard Carlson; Grandchildren, Lisa Day, Kellie McMillen, Austen Gunnels, Macy Eason, Jacob (Buck) Eason, Courtney Grosklags, Christina (Tina) Barredo, John (Johnny) Carlson, Jr., Breck Stephenson, Coleton Stephenson; numerous Nephews, Nieces and Great Grandchildren. Dianne was a lifelong resident of the Greater Houston area who lived her last three (3) years in Galveston, Texas. She loved spending time in the sun and spending time with her family. Dianne enjoyed watching the Houston Texans, going to the movies, going out to dinner, playing cards and games, watching the western channel and listening to her Elvis CD collection. In her younger years Dianne enjoyed hunting, antiquing and gardening. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Carnes Funeral Home, Texas City at 1 p.m. Memorial Service will follow at 2 p.m. at Carnes Funeral Home, Texas City.
