Azebell Anderson Obituary (1940 - 2020)

Azebell Anderson, daughter of the late Telsie Green and Evelina Green, was born on August 21, 1940 in Washigton, LA. She departed this life on Monday, December 14, 2020. Azebell was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Anderson; sister, Darnell Brown; and brothers, Israel Green, Malcolm Green, and Charles Green. Mourning her departure, yet cherishing her memories, are two sons, Christopher Franklin of Texas City, TX and Ronald (Ashley) Anderson of Texas City, TX; three daughters, Valeria (Michael) Buck of Sunset, LA, Cynthia Darlington of Dallas, TX, and Shila Anderson of Houston, TX; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; two brothers, Jimmy Green of Opelousas, LA and Leonard Green of Opelousas, LA; three sisters, Pearline Fontenot of Opelousas, LA, Mary Jean Green of Opelousas, LA, and Barbara Green of New Orleans, LA; and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 10:00am to 11:00am in the Chapel of Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, TX 77591. Azebell's Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00am with Pastor Edward "Doc" Amey officiating. Interment will be at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, Hitchcock,TX.
