Brenda Gail Zittle Obituary (1958 - 2014)

Brenda Gail Zittle, 55 of La Marque, Texas, passed away on April 26, 2014 surrounded by family in the comfort of her home. Brenda was born in Baytown, Texas, September 22, 1958 to parents Drate Waldo and Mary Lois Smith. She married Tom Zittle of Cowlesville, New York, on May 21, 1983 in Galveston, Texas. Brenda was a devoted wife of 30 years who loved cooking, cleaning, making candles and being involved in church activities. She is survived by her husband, Tom Zittle, and children Jason Hicks, Jacob Zittle, and Mallory Zittle. She is also survived by her father, Drate Smith, and siblings, Larry, Michael, Harold, and Jackie Smith, and Vicki Gregory. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Smith and daughter, Jennifer Nicole Zittle. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Carnes Funeral Home in Texas City, TX. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2014 also at Carnes Funeral Home in Texas City, TX. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, TX.
