Christena Marie York Obituary (1954 - 2020)

Chris was born on November 12th, 1954. She went to be with her Saviour Jesus Christ on December 24, 2020. Chris was an incredibly special woman. Chris would help anyone that needed help, with no questions asked. She attended Bible Baptist Church in Galveston with her husband Tim. Chris led the song service there and was loved by everyone that walked through the doors of her church. Chris loved to spend time with her family, and she loved to sing and listen to music. Chris and her husband loved to do everything together. There are no words to use to describe their relationship with each other. Chris is now in heaven singing praises to her God and Saviour Jesus Christ. She will be missed. She is survived by her husband, Tim York; sons, Tim York and wife Briana, and Benjamin York; daughter, Leslie; grandkids, Gavin, Ryan, Amaya, and Alisa; brothers, Roy and wife Cheryl, Butch and wife Debbie, and her sister, Pat and husband Don as well as various and other family and friends. The family will greet guests at Carnes Funeral Home - Texas City from 6:00 -7:30pm on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
