Chuck O. Whitman III Obituary (1959 - 2011)

Chuck "Charles" Whitman, 52 of Santa Fe, Texas left to be with the Lord on June 22, 2011. He was born on January 5, 1959, in Electra, Texas. Chuck worked 32 years in the oil industry as a driller. He was a devoted husband and father. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Chuck is preceded in death by his mother, Frances and father, C. O. Whitman of Electra, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Crystal; son, Joshua (Mi hijo) and daughter, Kearsteyn (Pee Wee). Stepmother, Shirley Whitman of Electra, Texas, sister in law, Danyelle Martinez, Mother in law, Linda Martinez and husband Marty, five sisters, two step brothers, one step sister, numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 27th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Carnes Funeral Home (exit 15), Texas City, Texas. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 28th at 10:00 a.m. at Carnes Funeral Home with Graveside services scheduled on Tuesday June 28th at 11:30 am at Grace Memorial Park, (hwy. 6) Hitchcock, Texas.
