Cody James Parshall Obituary (1992 - 2012)

Cody James Parshall, 20, passed away May 18, 2012 in Nassau Bay, Texas surrounded by those who loved him deeply. He was born April 25, 1992 in Galveston, TX and grew up in League City, TX where he attended Clear Creek ISD Schools. During the time he spent with us, he touched our lives and souls and his presence in our lives is a gift we will forever cherish. Cody's life would seem too short by many, but those who had the pleasure to know him were touched by his compassionate, giving heart. He was always willing to give his time to help family and friends. He taught himself how to play the guitar and he loved listening to heavy metal music like Avenged Sevenfold and 3 Days Grace, playing pool, attending Monster Truck events and dominating his friends on his PS3. Cody is survived by parents, James Parshall and Kimberly Pritchard of League City; sister, Britteny Parshall and brother, Ryan Whitford. He also leaves behind grandparents, Don and Dora Hoffpauir and Claude and Sandra Parshall; great-grandparents, Irene and James Parshall. He is also survived by Aunts and Uncles; Charles and Jennifer Parshall, Donald and Bobbi Parshall, Eric and Tamara Parshall, Matt and Brandy Jones and numerous cousins. The family will receive guests on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 5:00 - 6:00 PM with Celebration of Life Services starting at 6:00 PM.
