Deborah Lee Gowan was born in Aurora, Nebraska January 11, 1955 to parents Rosemarie and John Stephenson. She passed away October 28th, 2011 at her daughter's home in La Marque, Texas after an exhausting battle with cancer.\nDeb was an extremely talented quilter. There wasn't a day that went by that she didn't do something with fabric! She also loved remodeling homes, painting, decorating, and mowing the lawn.\nShe is preceded in death by her mother Rosemarie Stephenson, Sisters Jackie Dickes, Nancy Janzen.\nDeb is survived by her daughter Stephenie Pena (Scott) of La Marque Texas, Grandson Lincoln Merrit Pena, Father John V. Stephenson, brothers Steve Gray (Becky) of York Nebraska, John Stephenson (Angie) of Grand Junction Colorado.\nMemorials may be sent to the Black Hills Quilters Guild.
