Demetrio B. Torres III

Demetrio B. Torres III, passed away at his residence, Friday, October 10, 2025. Demetrio was born May 11, 1958, to Berta and Demetrio Z. Torres, Jr. in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was the eldest of eight children. He is preceded in death by his father, Demetrio Z. Torres Jr., his brother Damian B. Torres and his niece Lindsay Ray Hernandez. He is survived by his mother, Berta B. Torres, his brothers Daniel (Maggie), Michael (Rose), Edward, Sammy, his sisters Dianne Duron (Michael), Doris Butler (Thaddeus), his loving girlfriend, Margarita (Maggie) Galindo, and close friends, Nancy and Mark Jahn. Demetrio is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Demetrio was an avid sports fan; from Football; (especially the Texans), all day college ball, formula racing, boxing, Astros baseball, to the Masters and US Open. Demetrio also spent a lot of time reading books and would often share the tales he read to anyone that would listen.

Special thanks to Daniel and Maggie along with Doris and Thaddeus for always being there to lend a hand when Demetrio needed it. Your love and kindness helped him more than you will ever know.
