Deon Jamal Stewart Obituary (1990 - 2020)

Deon Jamal Stewart Living and leaving here... Deon Jamal Stewart was born in Galveston, Texas on July 23, 1990 to the union of Regina Aldridge and Deon Curtis Stewart. DJ attendee school on the La Marque Schools and was skilled in sports. He was inducted in the Junior Honor Society in 2003 and participated in many of the athletic programs in Jr. High and High School. He completed his High School and continued his love for music in the Rap game. Until his death on May 27, 2020, at the hands of an unknown assailant, he was true to his love of Rap Music. DJ was a beloved son, grandson, a dutiful and devoted father and a true friend. Tomorrow will seem like forever without DJ around. DJ is preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty Joyce and Melvin Curtis Stewart and many other friends and relatives. The wonderful memory of DJ is in the hearts and minds of his parents, Regina and Deon Stewart; his brother, Devin Stewart; his children, Deon Stewart, De 'Airre Stewart and Andrea Jones; his companion and the mother of his children, Tierra Conley; grandparents, Jo Ann and HT Aldridge; aunts and uncles, Jacquline and James Redic, Gary and Lula Mae Stewart and Jeffery Aldridge; many cousins, friends and those who will always love and miss him. There will be a public visitation held pm Friday, June 5, 2020at 9am with a chapel service to begin at 1pm. Burial to follow at Forest Park East. Services to be held at Carnes Funeral Home located at 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, Texas 77591.
