Donna Gibson

2 Timothy 4:7
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith

Donna Mae Clark-Gibson was born Jan. 9,1936 in Nacogdoches, La to Vernice Clark and Daisy Jones. Donna made her commitment to God at an early age and was baptized. Donna later moved to Houston with her Aunt Margaret McClenton and united with Mount Corinth Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Louis A. Patterson. Then in 1983 she united with John Osteen at Lakewood Church and continued with Joel Osteen also. During that time at Lakewood Church sang in the church choir and a door greeter for many years.

Donna worked as a hairdresser for over 40 years. In her spare time she found joy with growing her plants and fruit trees but most of all serving the Lord.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her son Gregory Paul Brooks and Wife (Stephanie), cousin Charles E. McClenton and Wife (Kathy), Grandchildren: Shenika Jones and Kiera Brooks and a host of relatives and friends.
