Ernest Canales, Jr. Obituary (1963 - 2022)

Ernesto Canales Jr., 59 years old , passed away on Monday September 12,2022 in Dallas, Texas. Ernest was a long-time member of the Texas A&M Century Club. Ernest was born in Galveston, Texas, the son of Ernesto Canales Sr. and Orfelina Canales. He attended Texas A&M University and graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He was employed at Wier Enterprises and worked as a Superintendent/Civil Engineer. Ernest enjoyed making memories with his son, riding his Harley, golfing, hanging out with those he loved, and attending A&M football games with friends. Ernest will always be remembered for his kindness, big heart, and generosity. He is precedced in death by his mother, Orfelina Canales and brother, David Canales. He is survived by his son, Brandon Michael Canales of Dickinson, Texas; father, Ernesto Canales Sr and wife Karolyn; sister Emelda Ibarra and husband Victor of Katy, Texas; brother, John Canales and wife Lauri of La Marque, Texas as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial Services will be held on October 1, 2022, at Carnes Funeral Home 3100 Gulf Freeway Texas City, TX 77591 at 3:00 pm.
