Ernest Wayne Smith Sr. Obituary (1966 - 2022)

Ernest "Ernie" passed away at home on October 24, 2022 at the age of 56, surrounded by his wife and kids. He was born March 31, 1966 in Galveston, Texas at St. Mary's Hospital to Edgar and Glenda Smith. He is survived by his wife Bobbette Smith of 39 years whom he loved dearly. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was active in his ministry. Some of his favorite hobbies included cruising, fishing, and camping. He loved camping so much he would often camp out in his backyard. He had a knack for building, he could build anything he put his mind to. But most importantly he loved playing with his grandkids. There was never a time where he wasn't extending a hand to help others. He had a sense of humor that lit up any room he was in. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
