Eudell Clayton Jiles, Sr. Obituary (1925 - 2020)

Eudell Clayton Jiles Sr. was born in Cleburne, Texas on July 15, 1925 to Julian C and Lilie Mae Jiles. He passed away on January 2, 2020 at the age of 94 in Webster, Texas. Eudell was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Bobbie Jiles, his parents and his sister and 4 brothers. He is survived by his four children; daughter Jeani Allen; son, Eudell Jiles, Jr.; son, Glenn Jiles and wife Anita; son, Scott Jiles; grandchildren, Heather Moon and husband John, Oscar Allen and wife Kristi, Katy Jiles, and Clayton Griffe; and great grandchildren Kenley and Taylor Allen. Eudell was a WW2 Navy Veteran and born and raised Texas. He lived most of his life in the Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston areas. Eudell was a neon tube bender by trade and while he worked for several sign companies, he was also a business owner and inventor in the neon industry. Eudell and wife Bobbie enjoyed trips to Hawaii and were avid bowlers. Eudell loved his family and was known by all as a sweet and kind-hearted man. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 10am in the chapel of Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, TX 77591. Eudell's Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00am.
