Genevieve M Quarnstrom Obituary (1937 - 2020)

Genevieve Marie Quarnstrom, passed away, August 12, 2020. Born in Brownsville, TX, she was the daughter of Richard and Mamie Quarnstrom. She will be remembered for her strength, kind heart, and infectious laugh. She touched so many people along the way throughout her lifetime young old and in between. Always willing to help others in any way she could. She was such a hard working strong woman she always made sure that her family was taken care of and it did not matter to her what needed to be done she would work 2 and 3 jobs to make it happen. She had a happy spirit and loved to dance and sing along to her favorite songs. Her laughter was so contagious even if you didn't want to laugh before you knew it you were laughing right along with her. She is survived by her children, Rosie Z. Ruth and Jessica Y. Zuniga, grandchildren Richard Ruth Jr. and Crystal Ruth, great grandchildren Charles Flores, Jeremiah Gonzalez, and Danielle Ruth, great-great grandchildren Charles Flores Jr, Haven Flores, Carter Flores, Addison Flores. She was predeceased by Richard Quarnstrom, Maime O. Quarnstrom, Elizabeth Q. Palmer, Irene Q. Harris, Ida Q. Grijalva, Eleanor Q. Trevino, Tom Quarnstrom, and Oscar Quarnstrom. The funeral service will be held on August 22, 2020 at 5pm. The viewing/visitation will be held at 3pm and a chapel service will begin at 5pm.
