Gregory M Larson

Gregory M Larson passed away November 7, 2023 at the age of 70
in Houston, Tx. Greg was the son of Orville and Kathleen Larson
and Norvel Derickson. Greg is survived by his 6 Sisters Nancy,
Christine, Denise, Holly, Michele, Amy and 5 Brothers David,
Butch, Patrick, Daniel, Stephen and many Nieces, Nephews and
Cousins. He was predeceased by Brother Gary and his Aunt
Arline.
Greg grew up in Brentwood and Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Soon
after graduation, Greg set out for the then nearly undiscovered
town of Austin, Tx. He graduated from the University of Texas at
Austin and went to work for Texas Instruments. Later he moved to
Houston to work for Compaq, and finished his career at Hewlett
Packard.
Before Greg was old enough to drive a car, he was ready to dip a
line into the water. He would spend much of his time on Lake
Rayburn chasing bass and often offering a fish fry at the house.
Many of us can cherish a picture onboard with him displaying the
Big One we caught. Friends and police from Missouri to Texas
will remember Greg racing about in his white 1970 Mach I during
earlier years. Greg was never one to pass up a party or family
gathering and will be deeply missed but never forgotten by those
he shared his life with. And, as he always said, Godspeed.
