Haskell Lee Hipp III Obituary (1972 - 2023)

Haskell Lee Hipp III, 50, passed away at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston on July 16th with his family by his side. High school sweethearts, he and Carrie were married 31 years and had 3 beautiful children: Carlee, Pete, and Andrew. Born in Pasadena, TX, he was the son of Haskell Lee Hipp Jr and Judy Ann Shearer Hipp. Lee graduated from Texas City High School. He then attended the University of Colorado on a football scholarship becoming a proud CU Fighting Buffalo and receiving a Bachelors degree in Microcellular Biology. Lee was employed at Ashland in Texas City as an environmental technician. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. He loved enjoying outdoor activities with his family such as camping, hunting, and fishing. His favorite family trips were going to the Happiest Place on Earth, Disney World, with Peter Pan's Flight being his favorite ride. He also enjoyed his yearly golf trip with his Colorado buddies. He loved taking his boys camping with Boy Scout Troop 246 and hunting at the deer lease. He enjoyed his rides with his daughter to Starbucks. Lee also did his best not to miss one of the kid's sporting events. He was super proud of all three of his children. A visitation will be held at St. John's United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 22nd from 5-7pm. Friends and family are invited to gather and reminisce. Casual dress. Thank you,
