Jacob Allen Armstrong passed from this world on July 31, 2020. Jacob was 15, a Texas City high school student with big dreams and a bright future. Jacob loved playing sports; both online and with his friends. He had a smile that was contagious and would do anything to make people laugh. He was silly, sweet, kind and loving. He would go out of his way to help anyone he could. He loved animals whether they were fury like his dog BamBam or scaled like his corn snake WildFire. He was an amazing big brother and friend to many. The footprint of his life will be felt forever with anyone who met him.\n\nJacob is survived by his father Mark Armstrong and partner Leslie Arocha, mother Amanda Maxwell and partner Richard Hernandez, sisters Mariah Cummings, Heather Armstrong, Myaaliyah Hernandez, Nyimah Hernandez, and Olympiah Hernandez, brothers Dailyn Hall, Shayne Keeler-Brown, Richard Hernandez II, Christopher Maignaud, David Maignaud, Grandparents Denise Armstrong, Michael and Karen Maxwell, Great grandparents Wayne and Carol Maxwell, aunts and uncles, Michelle Golden, first motherly figure for Jacob and Gary Gillespie Jr, Jason Nicholson, Brandon and Debra Nicholson, Will Armstrong, Ryan Maxwell, cousins by blood but siblings by heart Dylan, Rylie, and Ethan Golden , cousins Matt and Ashley Nicholson, Brandon Lee Selman, Victoria Gerhardt, Chloe Penton, Kara, Ty and Mackenzie Nicholson, and extended family and loved ones Robert Richardson and son, Christi Prater and children, Lyndsie Arocha, Adam Sheets and son, Randi Eaton, Brent Hoff and son, Jack and Shorty Collins and children, Lisa Kitchens and family, Ashley Conway and daughter, Andrell Jordan and daughter, Chris Landin, Amber Jacobs and son, Dizz Messinger, John Alaniz and son, Aaron and Amanda Brantley and children, Christopher Neal and family, Teresa Gilliam and family, The Gallaway's, Nichole Bentley and daughter, Terry Gibbons and family, Shane Taylor and family, and many more loved ones. He is preceded in death by his grandfather William Armstrong Sr, great grandparents Luther and Shirley Taylor, and cousin Angelique Ramirez.\n\nThe honorary pallbearers are, Dailyn Hall, Shayne Keeler-Brown, Colton Eaton, Zay Brantley, Dylan Thorton, Christopher Landin, Robert Richardson, Dylan Golden, Ethan Golden, Nathan Cleveland, and Andrell Jordan.\n\nThe viewing memorial will be held August 8, 2020 between 2:00-4:00 pm followed immediately by funeral services from 4:00-5:30 pm at Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway Texas City, Tx 77591. There will be a celebration of Jacob's life after the funeral for family and friends. The location will be announced at a later time.
