Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter and sister Jacqualine Childress left to be with her lord on February 23, 2022. She is proceeded in death by her parents Charles and Jennie Bronowicz, two brothers Charles and John Bronowicz and granddaughter Crystal Clark.\r\n\r\nJacqualine Childress was born in Delaware on July 5, 1941 and grew up in Wilmington, Delaware. She graduated from William Penn High School in New Castle, Delaware in 1959. In her early 20's she moved to Texas City where she became one of the 1st women hired in Operations at the Monsanto-Sterling Chemical plant and was lucky enough to then retire from the Monsanto-Sterling Chemical Plant in 1997. She lived the remainder of her life in Texas City but spent a few years back in Delaware to care for her mother and aunt until they passed.\r\n\r\nJacqualine was a devoted catholic and longtime member of Saint Mary of the Miraculous Medal church. She loved being able to spend time with her family and friends especially during the holidays although she wasn't one for all the pictures. Her longtime friends would tell you she is one of the most honest and humble people you would meet because she wished well for everyone. She was raised with strong morals and instilled those morals in her children and family as they grew. If there were two things she loved as much as her family it was animals and travel. She fed and cared for a number of stray cats and even took in some to add to her own at home. She was blessed to be able to travel and see so much of the world over her life and tried to visit every casino she came across. One of her favorite casino destinations was Biloxi where she could visit some of her family as well. \r\n\r\nJaqualine is survived by her two sons, Steve Childress (Laura Rabago) and Jerry Childress with wife Sandy Childress. Grandchildren Chelsea Childress (Cody Bock), Victor Rabago Jr. and Steve and Amanda Clark. Great grandchildren Steve Clark III, Leslie Clark, Keeleigh Bock and Kaisen Bock. Sister Geri Kaper and numerous nieces and nephews.
