Jadiel Rodriguez

–

Houston, Texas

It is with profound sadness yet immense love that we remember the life of Jadiel Humberto Rodriguez Aguilera, known to us as Jadiel Rodriguez, who passed away on 7th May 2026. Born in Houston, Texas on 5th July 2009, Jadiel, or “Jay” as many affectionately knew him, was a courageous, funny, loving, and resilient young soul who left an indelible impact on all who knew him. In the words of Dr. Seuss, "To the world, you may be one person, but to one person, you may be the world." For Jadiel, that person was his mother, Carolina Rodriguez Aguilera. Their love for each other was a beautiful testament to the unbreakable bond between a mother and her child.

Jadiel’s resilience was most evident in his love for boxing, a sport that demands determination and grit. He also had a passion for basketball, video games, and exploring new restaurants; he had an insatiable appetite for life, quite literally. His laughter was contagious, his spirit was uplifting, and his courage was inspiring. His loyal dog Hazel was his constant companion in his adventures, their bond a testament to Jadiel's loving nature.

Jadiel is survived by his mother, Carolina Rodriguez Aguilera, father Omar Rodriguez, Uncle Victor Perdomo, Grandmother Martha Aguilera, Aunt Cristela, Grandfather Salvador Aguilera, Aunt Rosy, Aunt Gissela, cousins Jayden and Julian, Uncle Breidy, Aunt Masiel, Aunt Brenda, Grandfather Don Miguel, Grandmother Doña Carmen, Uncle Michael Hilliard, cousin Jeremy, cousin Junior, and cousin Baby J. As Helen Keller once said, "What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes part of us." Jadiel's love, joy, and spirit will continue to live in the hearts of his family and friends.

A Viewing, Visitation, and Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Monday, 18 May 2026 at 3:00pm CDT at the Carnes Funeral Home - CTC, located at 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, Texas, 77591. The Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, 19 May 2026 at 10:00am CDT at the South Park Cemetery, Pearland, Texas, 77581.

In honor of Jadiel's vibrant life, we invite you to share your memories, stories, and photos on his memorial page. Let us remember Jadiel not with sorrow, but with gratitude for the time we had with him and the joy he brought into our lives. His story is not just one of loss, but of love, resilience, and the enduring spirit of a young life well-lived.
