Jaicob Nikkolas Smith Obituary (1993 - 2023)

If you really knew Jaicob, you knew kindness, laughter, tears, affection, raw honesty, and a genuine caring for you. He loved animals, more than people sometimes, although if you were his friend, you were truly his friend. He would make sure you were okay before you left or hung up. Loyalty was one of his biggest attributes. He had the most beautiful smile and a heart that could stretch a thousand miles. His embrace was like a warm sunny day or a soft summer breeze. His beautiful wife was his best friend and greatest love. His two children, Griffin Kazz and Sailor Kara were, and always will be, his greatest blessing. He will be in his wife and children's spirit for eternity. Jaicob is preceded in death by his grandfather, Alvin C. Smith; grandmother, Cara Lynne Hart (William J. Hart); aunt, Holly Suzanne; and cousin, Daniell Peak. He is survived by his wife, Violet Smith; children, Griffin Kazz Smith and Sailor Kara Smith; mother, Terri K. Smith; father, Jimmy F. Theobald; godfather, Bruce Pattison; mother-in-law, Florinda Bernal; father-in-law, Ruben Bernal; sisters-in-law, Tatiana and Yamina Bernal; aunts, Melody Smith, Heidi Smith, and Merrie Volquardson; uncle, Tim Smith; cousins, Danny Prill, Michelle Prill, Jon Smith, Duella Armstrong, Jordan Golz, Jaden Styla, Jaci Styla, Caleb Taylor, Phoenix Smith, and Bella Smith. Jaicob's main goal was to make anyone, and everyone, surrounding him laugh and feel free of judgment. His energy was infectious and it was impossible to feel down around him because he would never allow it. He was an inspiring soul, always looking for ways he could help, or be an ear for anyone who needed it. He loved playing practical jokes and he Never missed the chance for a punchline, as inappropriate or untimely as it could be - He always took the shot, he always took the risk because he knew it would be a laugh, regardless. He loved writing poems, playing RuneScape and PokemonGo, and listening to music so loud you could not hear yourself think. Jaicob was a wonderful father who loved his children with all his being and collected Hot Wheels on his wall, so his children could "Shop" from home. He could never make a trip to the grocery store without picking out cars for them. He will be dearly missed, and forever loved. Although he is no longer with us physically, he will always be with us in our spirits, hearts, and minds.
