Jayce Martinez Obituary (1986 - 2021)

Monday, August 2nd, 2021, loving husband, father, and son Jayce Martinez passed away from life peacefully with his mother and wife by his side. Born in Galveston, TX on May 14, 1986, Jayce was a personal banker who genuinely cared about helping others and was loved by all that knew him. He met the love of his life at age 19. He enjoyed playing video games, shared the love of sports with his son, spending time with friends, and enjoyed game/movie nights with his family. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ana Maria Martinez. Jayce is survived by his wife, Kori Janel and son, Aidan Jayce of Texas City, Texas; mother, Julieta Artega Rueda of La Marque, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. . The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 11th, 2021 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, TX 77591. Jayce's Celebration of Life will follow on Thursday, August 12th, 2021 at 6:00 PM
