Jean Marie Hildebrand Miner was born December 8, 1936 in Norwich, Connecticut to parents, Henry Hildebrand and Ida Marie Hildebrand.\nJean was married at a young age to her first love, Donald Miner, and they had their four children in Connecticut. After losing him at a young age, after a time she remarried to Edward Deschene becoming "Jean Deschene" who was loved by all who met her. She lived in Connecticut much of her life but then relocated to Brownsville, Alice, Corpus Christi, Florida, San Antonio then to Seabrook and Webster.\nShe passed away on Saturday October 24, 2020 in the morning hours peacefully in her sleep in her old bedroom at home surrounded by her loved ones. She knew she was at home as we had busted her out of her nursing home, and she was elated to finally be back home. Sadly, Jean suffered with a myriad of health issues and ailments that got progressively more frequent. Now she is in perfect health with her loved ones and our savior Jesus Christ.\nJean was very loved by all that knew her and met her. She was always in the mix and very much a "Social Butterfly". Jean was highly active into her later years until she no longer could be mobile.\nShe was a twin and her twin sister, Judith Foley, who recently passed away, just before her, was also battling health issues of her own.\n\nShe is survived by daughter, Nancy Nagel and son-in-law Rick Nagel; daughter, Debbie Ebers and son-in-law Tom Ebers, and sons, Donald and Ronald Miner; eleven grandchildren, Felicia Alviar, loving primary caregiver for years, Mario Alviar Jr., Hilary Garza, Andrew, Katherine, and Jessica Miner, Kyle, Kelly, Jenna, Reagan, and Brenna; 6.5 great-grandchildren; Elijah Alcocer, who also was a primary caregiver, brushing her hair, doing her nails as well as applying lotion at regular intervals with lots of love; Theo Ebers, Mason Alviar, Mario Alviar III, two great-granddaughters, and great-grandson, Myles, due any day now.\nGuests are invited to share in a Celebration of Life Visitation from 1-2:00 p.m., with Memorial Services starting at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, TX 77591.
