Jesus Augustine Ruiz Obituary (1954 - 2025)

Jesus “Jesse” Ruiz was welcomed to Heaven on Tuesday January 7, 2025, at 2:43am, at the age of 70. Jesse was born Saturday April 17, 1954 to parents Augustine Ruiz and Elena Lopez of Waco, Texas. Jesse was an amazing son, brother, father, uncle and friend. Jesse was known for his detailed knowledge of working on cars. He was everyone’s go to for mechanical work. His heart was made to help others in need, giving folks a place to live, to giving them his shirt off his back and also making someone smile when it was most needed. Jesse loved his oldies music mainly the song called ‘Stand By Me’, he was a huge wrestling fanatic, he enjoyed long drives and family get-togethers. The legacy of Jesse’s beautiful soul and love for everyone will live on forever. Jesse is proceeded in death by his parents Augustine Ruiz and Elena Lopez. Brothers, Joe “Coach” Valdez and Eleno “Bimbo” Arispe. Sister, Maria Celo. Son-in-law, Jose “Pepe” Martinez. Jesse is survived by his children: Christina Ruiz, Esmeralda Ruiz, Augustine Ruiz, Josephine Martinez and Philica “KeKa” Rodriguez; siblings: Dora Gonzalez, Johnny Arispe, Manuela Loa , Irene Arispe, Ernest Valdez Marianne Hernandez and Mike Valdez, as well as many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends.
