Jesus Torres Obregon was born on July 12, 1935 in Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, MX. Born to Benito Torres Obregon and Francisca Torres Obregon.\nHe passed away at his home, surrounded by his family at the age of 85.\nThe City of South Houston employed Jesus as a Maintenance Supervisor for over 16 years.\nJesus spent roughly over 40 years of his life in the City of South Houston, Texas. He found love for the game of baseball, with his favorite sports team being the Houston Astros.\nJesus is survived by his wife Martha Irene Torres Acevedo. They were united in marriage for 60 years. To this union nine children were born. Maria de Jesus Torres Acevedo, Francisco Javier Torres Acevedo, Rene Torres Acevedo, Sonia Torres Acevedo, Pablo Torres Acevedo, Luis Gerardo Tores Acevedo, Nancy Judith Torres Acevedo, Alberto Eduardo Torres Acevedo, and Martha Elizabeth Torres Acevedo.\nJesus had Twenty Five grandchildren, Ten Great Grand Children and is survived by two sisters-in-law, Delia Acevedo Pulido, and Maria Antonia Acevedo Soto. He had one brother-in-law, Jaime Pulido.\nHe is also survived by six siblings- Juan Torres, Isabel Torres, Benito Torres, Elias Torres, Reina Torres, and Roberto Torres.\nThe family will recieve visitors from 11:00am until 1:30pm in the chapel of Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, TX 77590. Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be celebrated at 1:30pm. Burial will follow at 3:00pm at Forest Park East Cemetery, Webster, TX.
