John Arch Pavel III Obituary (1974 - 2017)

On February 23, 2017 at 6:38pm, surrounded by loved ones, John Arch Pavel III passed into eternity. His death occurred after a long battle with an incurable, inflammatory lung disease. He was 42. John worked for many years on the oil rigs off the coast of Texas. He enjoyed writing music, singing, dancing, and performing. One of his favorite pass times was fishing. He also loved to cook and was known for preparing some very delicious meals. John is survived by his three children, whom he loved very much, Christian, Bethany Rae, and Lakayla. He is also survived by his mother, Patricia, and three sisters, Dawn, Lana, and Michelle, an aunt and uncle, a niece, two nephews, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, John Arch Pavel II and one brother, Ellis. He will be sorely missed by family and friends. We would like to thank the staff of doctors and nurses at the East Texas Medical Center for taking such good care of John, in his last days. We are grateful for the level of excellence and compassion that they displayed, both in caring for John and in communicating with the family.
