Jonathan David Dolton Obituary (1993 - 2019)

Jonathan David Dolton, age 26, of The Woodlands, Texas passed from this world on March 1st, 2019, surrounded by friends and family. Jonathan was born February 7, 1993 in Houston, Texas to parents Barry and Rosanne Dolton. Jonathan was born with a congenial heart defect and was considered a miracle child of Texas Children's Hospital. Despite his many surgeries, he loved life. As a child, he enjoyed playing with Legos and became an avid computer game enthusiast. In addition, he played on various baseball and soccer teams and also enjoyed taking fencing lessons. He was a member of a Boy Scout troop in The Woodlands and achieved the God and Family badge along with becoming an Eagle Scout. For his Eagle Scout project, he raised awareness of organ donation and collected organ donor pledge cards for the Life Gift organization. He attended the University of Texas at Dallas and earned a degree in arts and technology. He was on many college academic honors lists. The week of his passing, he was supposed to finish testing for a heart and possible kidney transplant. After he passed, he was able to donate his corneas so that someone else might have sight. His celebration of life memorial, will be March 16th from 2 to 5 p.m. at The Woodlands Resort, Vista Room, 2301 N. Millbend Dr., The Woodlands, TX 77380.
