Joseph T. Gallien (Blue) was born in Lawtell, Louisiana on November 6th, 1943. Our beloved Father and Husband passed away on Thursday, April 29th, 2021 at the age of seventy-seven years old.\nBlue was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma approximately fourteen months ago. Blue was a dedicated worker and a provider. He put up a great fight to stay here with his family and friends. He loved everyone that crossed his path. He was full of laughter and joy and he would always be the center of the crowd.\nBlue always enjoyed working and instilled great working qualities to everyone around him. He never wanted to leave his job, all the way to the end, he still wanted to work. God has taken a King from earth to humor and welcome everyone into the pearly gates of heaven.\nBlue is proceeded in death by parents, Sidney Gallien and Emily Gallien.\n\nBlue married Marjorie Brown of Houston, Texas on January 11th, 1975. He was also 1 of 11 children. Blue is a longtime resident of Pearland, Texas and a member of Silverlake Church. He was a dedicated Father, Husband, Grandfather and Brother.\nHe is survived by his loving wife Marjorie Yvonne Gallien; sons, Larry Gallien, Christopher Gallien (Bridget), Joseph R. Gallien and Joshua Gallien (Michelle), and daughters, Rhonda Blue, Shelia Ramsey, Tammy Williams (Chris), Lemonical Gallien and Crystal Hunter (Ray).\nGuests are invited to share in a Celebration of Life Visitation from 10-12:00 p.m., followed by Noon Funeral Services on Saturday, May 8th, 2021 at Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, TX 77591.
