Kenneth Coleman

–

Houston, Texas

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Kenneth Paul Coleman, born on February 20, 1936, in Garrison, TX. Kenneth, a compassionate, funny, loving, and humble soul, left us on October 1, 2026. He was a resident of Houston, Texas, and had previously lived in Fostoria, TX. A man of great character, Kenneth was a beacon of warmth and wisdom to all who knew him, always ready with a kind word or a good joke to lighten the hearts of those around him.

Kenneth was more than just an entrepreneur in the A/C Refrigeration business; he was a lifelong learner and a devoted family man. He cherished the simple pleasures of life. There was a special spot in his heart for reading a "physical" newspaper every morning over a steaming cup of coffee and a hearty breakfast. He had an insatiable curiosity for history and science, and his love for word puzzles was second only to his love for the open road. Road trips and special events with family and friends were the highlights of his life. As Mark Twain once said, "The secret of success is making your vocation your vacation." Kenneth embodied this sentiment through his approach to life and work.

Kenneth wanted his family and friends to know how much they meant to him. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Coleman, and his cherished daughter, Louanne Coleman. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Coleman; his mother, Avis Barton; his brothers, Don and Larry Coleman; and his sister, Doris Green. Each of them played a crucial part in shaping the wonderful man that Kenneth was. His love for them was mirrored in the love he extended to his own family.

As we bid farewell to our beloved Kenneth, we invite all who knew him to celebrate his life and carry on his legacy of love, humor, and humility. We encourage you to leave your cherished memories of Kenneth and upload photos to his memorial page. These shared stories will continue to paint a vivid picture of his remarkable life, allowing his spirit to live on in our hearts and minds. Kenneth's life was a testament to the saying, "A life well-lived is a precious gift, of hope and strength and grace, from someone who has made our world a brighter, better place." So let us remember Kenneth Coleman for the loving and bright light that he was, and continue to be inspired by his compassionate, funny, loving, and humble spirit.
