Kenneth James "Frog" Emilien Obituary (1966 - 2023)

Kenneth James "Frog" Emilien, age 56, born on this fantastic July 26, 1966 and he went to eternal rest on Thursday May 18th, 2023, surrounded by his loving brother, John Dennis Emilien and his precious dog, Wolfie. He was born at Charity Hospital in New Orleans at 11:32am and was pronounced deceased at 3:52 pm, from a complication of covid-19 and suffering a diabetic stroke. A graceful, merciful, and heavenly angel of God had visited my dear brother, tapped him on the shoulder, whispered to him that his journey on earth has ended and also said, Well done my beloved servant and now you can make your way to the heavenly gates of heaven and sit at the right hand, where we can all celebrate always and forever. Kenneth was well known in all parts of the New Orleans area and surrounding communities, which included Orleans and Jefferson Parishes. He also loved to make all whom he came in contact, to smile and keep them laughing all the time. He attended Valena C. Jones Elementary, Joshua L. Butler Junior High and graduated from West Jefferson High School in the year 1985. He was employed by the Orleans Parish School System and Mervyn's in the Oakwood Shopping Center. His favorite hobbies were traveling back and forth from Houston to New Orleans, constantly visiting family and friends, who loved him always, looking at karate movies, playing video games, playing cards, playing music of all kinds to which he enjoyed every day. He also enjoyed going to every parade he can follow and we were inseparable for almost 35 years. He has left many memories to cherish: his older brother, John Dennis Emilien. Son of the late Jerrold Enotha Emilien Michael, his grandparents, the late Frank Emilien Jr, and Marie Eugene Emilien. Also survived by his loving godmother, Ina Emilien, his aunts: Jacquelyn Emilien Patrick, Gwendolyn Emilien McWilliams, his uncle Wayne Errol Emilien Sr., and his favorite Godchild Nepreyia Angel. He is also survived by numberous number of aunts, uncles, cousins. Godfather of the late Frank Emilien III and nephew to Eugene Morris Emilien Sr. His final wish was that if the Heavenly Father ever took him from his precious life, that he wanted to be buried next to our beloved mother. I had explained to him in a few years when that occurs, I will make that promise so he can finally rest in heaven along another favorite godchild, Ashley Lewis, whom was a joy in everyone's surrounding. R.I.H to my mother, grandparents, and all of who has left to see our Heavenly Father!!!!!!!!! He was also a longtime acquaintance of Yvonne Penwright and to his adorable godchildren, Latrice, Keri, Jade and Ebony Eugene, Caleah Eugene and also Dorlicia Lewis. whom he loved so very much.
