Together, Kim and Michelle built a life around their kids, their community, and their families. Kim loved and supported youth sports; he served as the Commissioner of the Spring Branch Memorial Sports Association and later served as the Booster Club President at Spring Woods High School. His commitment to his neighborhood was profound, serving as a board member and later as President of the Royals Oaks Civic Association. Kim brought joy to countless lives through his cherished roles as Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. His dedication to creating happiness and fostering a sense of community will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
For 20 years, Kim was a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Throughout his service, Kim was the Vice Chairman of Breeders Greeters and a Committee Member on the Scholarship Administration Committee as well as the Calf
Scramble Arena Committee. Kim was a founding member of the Special Heart’s school art buying group and he also participated as a “cowboy” in the Special Children’s Lil’ Rustlers Rodeo.
Kim loved sports and the outdoors. He loved to travel and spend time with his family. Some of his favorite places were “The Little Lake” near Conroe, the Raymond Creek House on Caney Creek, and the Rockin’-O-Ranch where he hunted for nearly 22 years. Kim was an avid golfer who enjoyed his Friday tee times.
