Lena "Lynn" Nolan was born on March 10,1936 in Palmetto, Louisiana and went home to be with the Lord on March 12,2022, at HCA Mainland Hospital in Texas City.\r\n\r\nShe is preceded in death by her grandparents, Rev. Joseph Armand Stout and Laura Stout; her parents, Dreyfus Stout and Lena Stout; several brothers and sisters; her son, Ricky Lane Nolan, and her daughter, Darlena Ann Sarver.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Flash Nolan Sr.; her son, Flash Nolan Jr., her grandchildren, Darlynna Sarver, Steven Sarver, Amber Sarver, Wesley Nolan, and Tiffany Nolan; her great-grandchildren, Luke Nolan, Zayden Sarver, and Jamie Lynn Nolan; one sister, Marie Marx of Crowley, Louisiana, and countless nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nThe cornerstones of her life were faith and family. She was a faithful and devoted servant of God and was a fundamental member of First Love Church in Texas City where she worshipped and served for many, many years. She found joy in music and was an extremely talented musician and singer. She was a caregiver for many children over the years and loved them like family. She enjoyed sewing, woodworking, and crafting. She loved to cook and would gift her specialties to friends and family as an expression of love. \r\n\r\nHer legacy is one of unshakeable faith and love that will endure until we see her again.
