Lumis Skip Joseph Beyonce Obituary (1949 - 2016)

Skip relocated to his heavenly home on March 13, 2016. Born July 10, 1949, in Galveston, TX, Skip was an avid golfer and faithful member of his church. He will be remembered for his generous and loving personality, and for his kind and genuine heart. He is preceded in passing by parents, Agnes Derouen and Lumis Beyonce Sr.; and brother Melvin Marsh Jr. He is survived by his devoted wife Cynthia; sons, Terrance Beyonce and Terrell (Malu) Beyonce; daughters, Andrea (Stan) Beyonce, Lynn Beyonce, Michelle Beyonce, Dominique (Jimmie) Beyonce-Hilton; Grandchildren, Deandre Beyonce, Ledreya Washington, Jordan Beyonce, J'la Butler, Caesar Beyonce, and Bliss Beyonce; Former spouse Barbara Beyonce; Siblings, Selena Rittenhouse, Roland (Jeanette) Beyonce, Florence (Jimmy) Hilliard, Larry Beyonce, & Tina (Richard) Lawson; and a host of family and friends. Private Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 1 p.m., for the family and close friends of Skip.
