Madalyn Faith Squier Obituary (2011 - 2011)

Madalyn Faith Gracia-Squier has passed on to be with the Lord from her loving mother's arms on October 18, 2011. Maddy was born on September 26, 2011 at UTMB in Galveston. Arriving early and weighing 3 lbs 4 ounces, Maddy put up a fight for a memorable 22 days and touched the hearts of everyone. 'There is no footprint too small that can't leave an imprint on the world'. Maddy is survived by her devoted mother, Megan Gracia; grandparents, Manuel and Kimberly Gracia; grandmother, Lori Squier; uncle, Trey Gracia; great grandmother, Maria Gutierrez; great-great grandparents, Paul and Sarah Luna and numerous loving family and friends. Pallbearers will be Rey Spencer and PJ Luna. Honorary pallbearers will be Maddy's Godparents, Trey Gracia and Jennifer Spencer. A visitation will be held at Carnes Funeral Home in Texas City on Friday, October 21, 2011 from 6 until 8 in the evening. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal, 1620 9th Ave. N., Texas City on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 1 pm in the afternoon. Burial will take place at Forest Park East in Webster at a later time. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff in the ISCU unit at UTMB who did an amazing job in taking care of 'Maddy.' An extended thank you goes out to family, friends and everyone who kept her in their thoughts and prayers throughout her journey.
