Madalyn Kay Tucker Obituary (1972 - 2021)

On Wednesday, January 13, 2021, Madalyn Kay (Wilson) Tucker, devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister passed away at the age of 48 years from a pulmonary embolism. Madalyn was born on December 16, 1972 in Texas City, TX to Robert and Earline (Wooley) Wilson. She was raised by her mother, Earline and Howard Bobbitt in Hitchcock, TX. Madalyn attended Hitchcock High School, where she was a Lieutenant for the Swingarettes Drill Team. Graduating in 1991. Madalyn married John Earl Tucker on August 19, 1995. They lived in Dickinson, TX with their first daughter, Cheyanne. Later moving to Texas City, TX after the birth of their second daughter, Madison. She worked for Sears Portrait Studio in Baybrook Mall and at UTMB Family Medicine for 18 years. Working for UTMB Medical Access Center at the time of her death. Madalyn was preceded in death by her dad, Howard Bobbitt and sister, Rosanna Gonzales. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, John Tucker; daughters, Cheyanne and Madison Tucker; mother, Earline Bobbitt; sisters, Wilda Wilson and Clarissa Cantu; mother and father-in-law, Edward and Sarah Tucker; sister-in-law, Shelley Tucker; nieces, nephews, and lots of friends who loved her. Her family will receive friends on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Chapel of Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, TX 77591. Madalyn's Celebration of Life will follow at 7:00pm.
