Michael Don Henderson

Michael Don Henderson of Texas City, Texas passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at the age of 44.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Mike Henderson, grandparents John Hede, Bert Henderson Sr and Greg and Shirley Gregory. He is survived by his wife Christina, children Michael, Jessica, Randi, mother Cathy Henderson, sister April Pickrell and husband Greg, niece Kayla Espinoza and husband Diego, grandmother Mae Hede, mother-in-law Patty Pearson and husband Mike, father-in-law Joe Rizzo and wife Gayla, puppies Zoey and Max along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, friends and union brothers and sisters.

Michael was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (I.B.E.W. LU 527) for 23 years, the last 10 years was spent as Business Manager. He was a fierce fighter for worker's rights and well respected by all members of the Brotherhood. He loved his family, loved his union brothers and sisters and was always the first one to step up when called upon. Michael loved his full pitcher of iced tea (if you know, you know!) and sports, especially the Houston Texans and Houston Astros. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
