Nita Kay Mackey Obituary (1952 - 2016)

Nita Kay Mackey was born to Bernice and R.S. Jackson on June 26, 1952 in Schulenburg, Texas. She attended J.A. Greene High School. She also worshiped at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where she was baptized. Upon graduation she married Douglas Mitchell to this union one child was born (Aretha) Nita was preceded in death by Daughter (Felicia) Mother (Bernice) Father R.S. Jackson. Two siblings R.S. Jr. and Claude Lee She leaves to mourn seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. There will be a visitation on Sunday, April 24, 2016 starting at 10am with the service starting promptly at 12pm.
