Pamela May Carrens Goodman Obituary (1966 - 2014)

Pamela May Carrens Goodman passed away on July 1, 2014 at the age of 48. Pam was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania on April 21, 1966. She graduated from Deer Park High School in 1983. The summer following graduation she received her Cosmetology degree. She loved doing hair and that love showed in the fantastic results she achieved for family, friends and clients alike. Pam was married to Steven Roland Goodman on August 23, 1985 and they had three beautiful children: Stefany Elizabeth, Jacob Roland and Karly Michelle. Being a mother was the most important thing to Pam. Pam worked as a hair stylist for a large part of her youth, making those around her look better and feel better about themselves. She was always available for the last minute haircut, the color you couldn't live without or the perm that would change your life. She was not only there when needed, but would actually come to the rescue. Pam took her loving heart to another level when she later became a Certified Nursing Assistant. She dedicated a majority of her time to taking care of those who could not care for themselves. She performed her duties with a compassion that allowed her patients to rest easy during their twilight years in the comfort of their own homes. Pam was a free spirited woman who enjoyed spending her days playing with her family especially her granddaughter Brooklynn and running the roads with her friends. She also enjoyed hanging out by the water and going out to concerts. Dolphins always interested Pam and she collected many unique figurines and pictures She was also an avid collector of all things Coca Cola. Pam is survived by her three children, Stefany, Jacob and Karly and a four year old granddaughter, Stefany's daughter, Brooklynn McKenna McPike, two sisters, Kim and Janifer Carrens as well as many other family members and friends. Pam is preceded in death by her mother Marian Carrens and her father, Thomas Carrens.
