Paulina Frances Palmer Obituary (1959 - 2017)

Paulina Frances Palmer, 58 of Houston, Texas passed away suddenly on October 10, 2017, at the Houston Methodist Hospital of Nassau Bay. She was surrounded by her daughter, son in law, and grand daughter from gladwin, Mi. Along with her fiance and his family. She was born January 29, 1959 at Woodstock, Illinois to Martha and Larry Petersen. During her life was married to Bruce Magnuson, after their marriage had come to an end,she married Ken Palmer which lasted for 23yrs. During their marriage she traveled all over the world with him being in the Army for 20 yrs. They resided in Remus, Mi until 2005 when their marriage came to an end. She moved to Texas to to start her life a new. As time went on she meet Michael Roger and has spent the last 8 yrs with him by her side. She was a kind and loving person with a big heart, and would do anything for anyone in her life. She had a sense of humor, and a smile that could take a bad day and make all your troubles go away. She was a friend to so many, for that we all were very blessed to have her in our lives. She was a beloved mother, who was always there no matter the distance between us I learned so much in my life from her. I will miss our talks, her smiles, and laughing at crazy things. I will miss our Chinese lunch dates we had every week til she moved to Texas. There was ups and downs, which only made our love for each other stronger and brought us closer together . She was not only my mom but my best friend. She was a grandmother to one granddaughter, that was able to see her through video chat, and talking on the phone. She loved her grandma so much. Through all the stories and memories she will live on and never be forgotten. She was preceded in death by: her mother(Martha Petersen), her dad (Larry Petersen), her brother (Edwin Petersen), and one infant son. She is survived by: her daughter, (Amber Minton), son in law,( Bill Minton), and grand daughter ( Lillianne Minton) of Gladwin, Mi. Final resting arrangements will be taken place at a later date, once known it will be shared with all those who loved and cared for her during her life. Just remember this isn't good bye, but I will see you soon. I love you momma to the moon and back.
