Raymond Lee Hamilton Sr. was born in Texas City, TX on November 9, 1934 to Robert Franklin Hamilton and Jimmie Ethel Myers Hamilton. He passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in League City, TX at the age of 87 years old. Raymond was a longtime resident of Texas City, TX where he worked as an Operator for Amoco Chemical. He retired with over 30 years of service. He loved to garden and fish in his spare time. He was also active with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and all 7 of his siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Carolyn Helen Harris Hamilton; son, Raymond Lee Hamilton Jr. and fiance, Grace Audra Knize of Magnolia, TX; daughter, Diane Lynn Pike and husband, Ricky Pike Sr. of La Marque, TX; grandchildren, Ricky Pike Jr. and wife, Marian Alyce Pike of Texas City, TX, Matthew Lee Pike and wife, Stephanie Elise Pike of La Marque, TX, Holly Lynn Norman and husband, Andrew Jack Norman of Texas City, TX and Ellie Lynn Pike of La Marque, TX; 4 great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. Pallbearers are Ricky Pike Jr., Matthew Lee Pike, Andrew Jack Norman, Richard Taeger, and William Taeger.
