Regina Lavonne Kirk Goffney (Gina) was born on December 25, 1965 in Galveston, Texas to her father Wallace Kirk and her mother Ida lee Scott Kirk Durant as the youngest girl of her six siblings. The Lord called her home on January 22, 2018.\n\nGina grew up most of her childhood in Dickinson, Texas on Green Lee Ln. before her Mother remarried and relocated them to New Orleans, Louisiana. It was there she grew her love for music and football with her New Orleans Saints. WHO DAT!?.\n\nAt the start of her career, Gina worked for the State of Texas at the Texas Parks and Wildlife. Later joining the United States Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division, she spent the remaining 24 years of her career in civil service.\n\nGina was proceeded in death by her father Wallace Kirk, mother Ida Lee Scott Kirk Durant, brother Charles Kirk, and brother Wallace Kirk. Gina leaves to cherish her memory a spouse of almost 30 years, Kirby Goffney, her children Ashley Kirk, Brandon Kirk, and Corey Kirk Goffney, her granddaughter Camryn Carson, her siblings Deborah Sims, Earl Taylor, and Robert Kirk. In addition, her nieces, nephews, cousins, wonderful work family, and many close family friends. Last but not least, her beloved dogs Deogi, Jacques, and Ignacio Manuel a.k.a Nacho.
