Reymundo Guzman Esquivel Obituary (1934 - 2021)

Sr. Reymundo Guzman Esquivel Sr., was born in San Carlos, Nuevo Leon to Pedro and Hortencia Esquivel. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, sister, Francisca Juarez, brothers, Samuel Esquivel and Hermelindo Esquivel. Sr. Esquivel is survived by his adoring wife of fifty-two years Sra. Tomasa C. Esquivel. They were married in Laredo, Texas July 14, 1968. This union gave life to a daughter, Narce Dalia Walker (Floyd) of League City, Texas, two sons, Reymundo Jr. (Shellie) of Spring, Texas, and Eduardo (Connie) of Galveston, Texas; grandchildren, Diego, Cassandra, Claudia, Chelsea, Natalie, Eduardo Jr., Aaron, and Carissa; great-grandchildren, Gregory and Jaxton; sister-in-law from Monterrey, Mexico, and numerous nieces, and nephews. Sr. Esquivel worked over forty years as an Automotive Body Engineer. A man of faith. A husband to his wife, loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed providing for his family. A hardworking family man. A man of his word. He frequently visited Shirley Donuts in his retirement years. Sr. Reymundo also had a heart for helping family and friends. In lieu of flowers, make donations to St. Jude's Hospital. The Esquivel and Walker family thank you for calls and visits to comfort his widow and family. Guests are invited to share in a Celebration of Life Visitation from 10-11:00 a.m., with 11:00 a.m. Funeral Services to follow on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, TX 77591. Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
