Richard Lee Quin, Sr. Obituary (1957 - 2022)

Richard Lee Quin, Sr., 64, passed away on June 29, 2022 in Missouri City, Texas. Born in Galveston, Texas, he was the son of Donna Utroska Hungerpillar (James) and the late Michael DeLacy Quin, Jr. He graduated from Washburn Rural High School and attended Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. Richard spent his life working in the hardware and lumber business in various management roles. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville, Missouri for many years. Richard was married to Tammy Vance (Reusch) from 1978 to 1995. Together they had two children, a son Richard L. Quin, Jr., who preceded him in death in 2015, and a daughter Kristen Lynch (Grady) of Missouri City, Texas. He has five granddaughters, Grace Quin, Aubrey Quin, Khloe Lynch, Rilee Lynch, and Emersyn Lynch. He was married to Lisa Quin (Laposha) from 1996 to 2017. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael D. Quin, III, and sisters Patricia Dugger and Kathy Clark. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In his final years, he suffered from Parkinson's and Lewy Body Dementia. He had a love for woodworking, remodeling and construction. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and baking.
