Rick

Ricky Lane Elkins, 63, was born on August 23, 1958, passed away on March 27, 2022, at Willowbrook Hospital in Houston, Texas. Ricky, in which many called him Rick, was born in San Antonio, Texas at Lackland Air Force base and was the son of Jimmy and Barbara Elkins.
Rick was a loving father, a son and brother to his siblings, his two children, Ryan and Brittany and step- sons, Robert and Shawn. He had a love for U of H football (Go Coogs) and baseball, he enjoyed music, golfing, nascar races, working on cars and houses and most of all four-wheeling riding with his family in East Texas along the Neches River.
Rick is meeting his father, Jimmy and brother, David in heaven.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Elkins; siblings, Jeff Elkins, Sherri Crane and husband Rich; children, Ryan Elkins and wife Ashley; Brittany Cevallos and husband Anthony; Robert Rivas and Shawn Rivas; grandchildren, Landon, Dylan, Isabella, Colton, Rogan, Shawn Jr, Paeyton, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.
He will be missed by all those who loved him.
