Robert Warren Reeves
Sunrise: July 28, 1958 | Sunset: November 2, 2026
Robert Warren Reeves, affectionately known as Rob, and lovingly called Papa by his grandchildren, passed away on November 2, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, generosity, and selflessness that will live on in the countless lives he touched. A man of faith, Rob loved the Lord and now rests in the loving arms of Jesus.
Rob shared 49 years of marriage with his loving wife, Brenda, building a life and family filled with memories, laughter, and unconditional love. He was a devoted family man whose greatest joy was spending time with those he loved.
A master electrician by trade and a skilled craftsman, Rob dedicated his life to his profession and was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). Throughout his career, he also served as an electrical apprentice instructor for the IBEW and taught courses at Galveston College, sharing his knowledge, experience, and skills with the next generation of electricians. He was a man who could fix just about anything. But his greatest talent was never simply what he could build or repair; it was the way he showed up for others. He had a heart of gold and a generosity that knew no bounds. Selfless to his core, he never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. If someone needed something fixed, needed help, or simply needed someone to show up, Rob was there. He gave freely of his time, talents, and heart, never expecting anything in return.
Rob’s love for the Lord was an important part of who he was. He faithfully served his church as a Sunday School teacher and Royal Rangers leader, helping guide and encourage younger generations in their faith. He also served through prison ministry, sharing his faith and offering encouragement and hope to others. His desire to serve others extended beyond his family and friends and was reflected in the way he lived his life.
Throughout his life, Rob accomplished much. In his younger years, he was an elite wrestler and proudly earned the rank of Eagle Scout. His selflessness was acknowledged for donating a record number units of blood. He was also a Shriner and a member of the Masonic fraternity, organizations whose values of brotherhood, service, and helping others reflected so much of who he was.
He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, from going on cruises and playing pool and poker to cheering on his grandchildren from the sidelines. He was happiest surrounded by family, and his love and pride for them were evident in everything he did.
To know Rob was to know a man who would give you the shirt off his back, lend a hand without hesitation, and do whatever he could to make someone’s life a little easier. His hands built, repaired, and created, but it was his heart that left the greatest impression.
Rob leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years, Brenda; his four children, Andy (Chrissie), Ryan (Crystal), Amy (Jeremy), and Ricky (Taylor); and his 13 cherished grandchildren: Kyleigh, Abreana, Andy Jr., Zoe, Michael, Camden, Ace, Jeremy Jr., Joseph, Liliana, Nate, Jayce, and Riley, who will forever know him as Papa. He is also survived by his parents, Rodney and Ann Reeves; his brother, Steve Reeves (Ingrid); and countless nieces, nephews, extended family members, loved ones, and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Lori Franks (Tim).
He was deeply loved, and the space he leaves behind can never truly be filled. Though he may be gone from our sight, his legacy will live on through his family, the memories he created, the people he helped, the faith he shared, and the love he gave so freely.
He will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed. Until we meet again, Papa.
