Rodger Dean "Beno" Schell Obituary (1955 - 2022)

Rodger Dean Schell, aka "Beno", 67, passed away Monday, September 26, 2022 at his home in Manvel, Texas where he had resided the last 8 years. He was formerly a resident of Franklin, Indiana where he resided with his late wife, Joyce Kay (Harris) Schell (2017). Rodger graduated high school and was born in Martinsville, Indiana to the late George (2000) and Estella (2019) Schell. He is survived by his 4 adult children, Rodgina Deann (Ricky) Wheeler of Edinburgh, Indiana, Julie Ann (Jamie) Bray of Morgantown, Indiana, Codi Lola (Josh "Bubba") Cline of Trafalgar, Indiana, and Rodger Dean Hawkins and his wife to be (Madison) of Vinton , Iowa; 7 grandchildren, Christopher, Stephanie, Brigette, Jamie Lynn, Dustin, Evelyn, and Daniel; 16 great grandchildren, Hunter, Kennedy, Kandyce, Kael, Jaydon, Bentley, Julianna, Brianna, Jaecob, Paizlee, Oliver, Asher, Lola, Gracelynn, Dahlia, and Lily all residing in Indiana; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers. Rodger enjoyed family cookouts, country life, fishing, NASCAR, and taking care of farm animals. A Celebration Of Life Service will be private.
