Russell grew up in Pasadena, Tx and attended Pasadena schools and completed his G.E.D. in 2012. Russell was a proud father to his three kids. Russell is survived by his loving mother Dorothy Giron of Baytown, Tx his father Russell Phillips of Lockhart, Fl his sister Cristy Phillips nephews Damien, Bright, and Kayden his kids mother Monica Maldonado with Kayline Phillips and Faline Cubos of Pasadena, Tx Hilda Lugo with Mathew Phillips of Pasadena, Tx Grandmother Lynn and Grandfather Clayton Barber is South Carolina Aunt Tina Olsen Aunt Tammy Davidson Uncle Charles and Aunt Eileen Hamilton of Baytown, Tx with many many cousins great aunts and great uncles. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Dorothy Hamilton his great grandparents C.D. and Virginia Heathcock and Aunt Janice King-Burns Russell's bright smile big personality and funny jokes would light up any room he walked in.
