Stephen Craig Harms was born in Houston, Texas on January 22, 1961. He climbed his stairway to heaven on January 5, 2022, in Sunny San Leon, Texas.\r\n\r\nStephen was a proud member of the community of San Leon, Texas for many years. He loved his dogs and his politics. He was a proud conservative American who loved this country. He was an amazing father for decades and a proud grandfather for many years as well. He was a selfless soul who would give the shirt off his back for friends and family.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his wife, Marie Harms and his 4 sons, Brian Harms, Kevin Harms, Casey Harms, and Brandon Harms and his stepson, J. P. Holzle and grandchildren, Alyssa, Logan, Eli, Brooke, Mikaila, Kylie, Chloe, Peyton, and Jordynn. In addition, his brother, Dennis Leisy and many nieces and nephew.\r\n\r\nThe family will receive friends on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm in the Chapel of Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, TX 77591. Stephen's Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00pm.\r\n\r\nIf pallbearers were to be used, Stephen requested that they would be Houston Texans players so that they could let him down one last time.
