Steven Ray "Stevie" Giles (66) was born in Amarillo, Texas on March 31, 1956. He passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at his residence in Santa Fe, Texas.\nStevie was a long time resident of Santa Fe, Texas and enjoyed fishing, and listening to music. He liked to dance and even made an appearance on Dick Clark's American Band Stand in his youth. He was happily retired after having been a truck driver for most of his life.\nHe is proceeded in death by his parents, Jessie Giles and Juanita Bernice Giles, and his sister Theresa Giles Dantin.\nLeft to cherish his memory are his son, Steven Giles II (Yolanda) of Texas City, daughter Rachael Giles, his brother Dale Giles (Misti) of Santa Fe, grandchildren Erica Giles and Jeremy Giles, great grandson Trindon Giles, brother in law Fred "Sonny" Dantin of Texas City, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.\nIn Lieu of normal remembrances, friends who wish may make a donation in Stevie's name to a charity of their choice.\n\nFamily and friends will be welcomed for a visitation for Steven on Tuesday, December 20th, 2022 beginning at 5:00pm. Visitation will be held at Carnes Funeral Home in Texas City at 3100 Gulf Freeway. A Celebration of Life funeral service will follow beginning at 7:00pm.
