Swint Triplett Jr. Obituary (1936 - 2015)

Swint Triplett, Jr. was born November 13, 1936 and departed this life on May 22, 2015. He was born in Indianola, MS, Sunflower County. He is preceded in death by wife, Odessa Triplett, his parents, Swint Triplett Sr. and Doretha Triplett, sister, Maple L. Edwards and son Eddie J. Triplett. Mr. Triplett was a long time resident of Hitchcock. He worked as an auto mechanic until his retirement. Left to cherish his memories are his children, Emma Vanderpuye (Kote), Thelma Sterling (Paul), Dessaree Triplett, Freddie Triplett (Bonnie), Inez Triplett and Brenda Triplett. Mr. Triplett also leaves fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Rosie Lee Goston, a host of relatives and friends in Galveston County and in and around Sunflower County, MS. Homegoing service will be held on Saturday, May 30th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, Texas 77591. Reverend Siverand will be officiating.
